I had to tell my wife the other day that I was in love with another woman! It was hard for her, but I think she's starting to accept it. The "other woman" is a beautiful, young, dark-headed 7 lbs. 10 oz. baby girl, named Abby! My daughter!
She was born exactly one month prior to my own birthday, Saturday, February 27, 2010. That makes her a Pisces and means she will be irresistable to many and show love to everyone. Hopelessly romantic will be the fate of this little girl, one of these days. You couldn't ask for anything more!
She's the happiest little baby I've seen yet (so we must be doing something right) and I love spending as much time as possible with her. Truly a blessing for my wife Leslie and I. The proud grandparents are my mother and father, Rick and Debbie Thrift, and Leslie's parents, Jim and Brenda Bowen. The great grandparents are Joanne and Charles "Blackie" Thrift and Frank and Cathlene Milburn.
I also want to acknowledge some others who are no longer with us in this world, but very much alive in the hereafter:
In loving memory:
Great grandmother Rebecca Bowen (1922-2010)
Great grandmother Mildred Smith (1918-1998)
Grandmother Sharon Bowen (1954-1993)
Great grandfather Carson Bowen (1981)
Great grandfather Charlie Smith (1918-1974)
We all love you very much, Abby!
Now you can view multiple images of our precious angel! She's a spunky little girl with loads of personality already. Once you see all of these pics, you will fall in love, just as I have. Enjoy!
And here's a little song my mom came up with that Abby loves:
"She flies through the air with the greatest of ease,
It's Abigail Kelly on the flying trapeze.
She floats like a butterfly, and stings like a bee,
You'd better watch out for Abigail Kelly!"
